i bought a dremel, which i used to drill holes in metal/wood... can use for sanding/polishing... also it has a nice attachment that cuts into plastic really well... it was like $29 at lowes and well worth the investment

I'd recoemnd the Black and Decker version, bit more $$ but lasts a lot longer.

We've been through 3 dremels, still have the black and decker.

Just used it to cut the 1/4" steel on the body of my car for the kicks.

And I'll back up what Scott said, go with the nice discs, I have yet to find anything that the little crappy ones can even cut...lol

I got the reinforced discs, the are a little tougher to break but do an alright job at cutting. Of course that is cuz I am cheap sometimes when it comes to the little things.

and that's where things show, skimping on the little things leads to big things showing it...

just spend the money and do it right the first time.
