car audio amp stock head unit

im really to new to all this. but i have a new amp and subs and no money for a new head unit so im using stock. i have everything wired up good but i have to turn on wire in my head unit so i have no clue what to do. please help me.

yea i need to know what to do with the turn on wire for the stock head unit because it doesnt have a spot to plug it into to. i had to buy an rca thing so i could plug the amp in but now im stumped on the turn on wire

It sounds like you are trying to connect your amplifier's remote turn-on wire to your factory stereo so that your amp will turn on when you start the car/with the stock radio.

The location and color of the amplifer turn-on wire varies with each make and model of car, so you need a to find vehicle specific info about your car's color codes...you can search for this info online, or you could go to a place like Best Buy and ask them to help you.
