I'm new here, hard drive question

I've got a fair amount of computer knowledge, and I have all of my car pc components hooked up and working fine, sitting in my room.

Before the install to my car, I need to know how many people have problems with hard drives skipping or not reading due to bumpy road surfaces?

If so, what's an easy way to fix this problem?

It's going in to a 98 Mitsubishi 3000gt, mounted in the trunk...so i have extremely minimal space for mounting, so i need the smallest solution to fixing the problem, if it really is going to be one at all...thanks!

this has been covered many times.

I'll give you the low down...

none

I've been running a full size drove for 3+ years now and haven't had a single issue. I'm also running on a stage 2 coil over sport suspension with the car pretty much as low as it can go.

Here's a few links for your reading pleasure:

lol, man....not exactly, but she is cool like that. Good luck on your system. Two of my friends have 3KGTs, so yeah, i understand your concern as they don't offer the softest rides. I would offer suggestions if it would alievate any apprehension, but Red has you covered nicely the links and stuff

Haha, woops...sorry Red

Thanks though...My screen should be coming in within the next week or so, and after that it's just a matter of installing...that's the easy part though.

I'll try to keep everybody updated, you'll have to tell me how i'm doing for a first-timer. At 17 lol. Think anybody on here is younger than I am?
