The switch on my laptop does not have a power wire that I can tap into, it is an actual momentary swithch that is pushed down by the button. Is there any easy/practical way for me to boot up my laptop?

Without soldering? The switch does not have a power line on it. I do not know how to configure WOR or WOL. It seems very complicated. I have searched, and I have been a member of this forum long enough to realize that I need to search first. All I want is a little bit of help.

Most laptop switches don't have power lines/wires to tap into. Most people solder wires directly to the pads of the momentary switch (after testing of course) and then running a jack/plug system through the side of the laptop and to a switch. The thread in my sig has some info on that. Other than soldering your options are close to nil, but they are out there... depends on your laptop's abilities/bios/functions, etc...
