Question Cf + Hdd + Epia Me6000 = ?

Is it possible to use both a compact-flash card (IDE adaptor) for windows and a regular hdd for all the music/movies with the EPIA ME6000?

I havent done it yet, but that is my plan as well.

Using as fast a CF card as I can find with a CF to IDE adapter, for the OS. Then a HDD for all my content.

I dont see why it wouldnt work, the CF to IDE adapter requires no drivers and from the documentation Ive read, it should show up as a HDD. Make it the master device on the first ide channel, then your hdd and CD/DVD drive on the second IDE channel. Should be good.

You will want to customize your OS for that. Some things to consider: you can only write to CF devices a limited number of times so make sure swap space and temp files are either cached until power off or stored on spinning media. There are some threads in the optimizing forum about this.
