2003 nissan altima trunk adapter?
i have a connector in the trunk of my 2003 nissan altima that i think is for a multi-disc changer, but i am not sure
i did some googling, and searching here, and did not find much.
if anyone has a 2003 or there about nissan altima, and/or can identify the connector i would greatly apreciated it.
the connector is located on the drivers side, inside the trunk compartment at the edge of the carpet near the rear deck. if need be i'll find a place to host a picture.

no such thing as a multi disc changer in the trunk..... only way you could have multi disc is if you had the bose factory system and that has a in dash 6 disc changer....

I'm with cj 8501, there is no trunk cd changer for the 03 and up altima's are you sure thats the right year. If you had the bose system you would see it written on the radio on the front and on the speaker grille, the amp is also be located in the trunk under the rear deck.

i can guarentee you its not with audio system..... head over to nissanclub.com and post this in the 3rd gen discussion area. And since you have a 2.5, you most likely have the crappy ndss system. Easy way to check.... should say bose on the headunit, speakers in rear doors, speaker grilles in back should say Bose on them, etc. My guess is that its either with the tail lights, spoiler light, 3rd break light, or a combination of those..... ive been in the back of mine and actally have never seen it. Ill look for it this weekend

I agree with CJ8501. I think it is probably for the tail lights. I can't tell if those wires are red or red/blue (might want to try out the macro feature). I looked at the wiring diagram for your car. Most of the wires for the parking lights and tail lights are Red/Blue (Red wire with a blue tracer).
Peace.

bose amp most likely. That plug looks familiar, i've done a few newer sentras with bose and that plug is located under the rear deck. I haven't checked my 3rd genner yet. I drive my 2nd gen daily and my bro has the 3rd gen...

It gives really high quality sound as no quality is lost in transmitting the music from ipod to the car radio/cd system.
did you even read the thread? none of this has anything to do with the plug he was looking at identifying.
