Questions and Opinions on this CarPC setup for a 2005 BMW 325ci

I'm starting to investigate putting a CarPC in my 2005 325ci. I know computers but I don't know electronics so I have a lot of reading to do but I always learn better when I'm actually working on something so I want to start getting the parts together. Anyways I've been reading the forums and piecing together information but there's a lot of hit and miss searching so I'm hoping some of you can help answer some questions.

Here's what I have so far and some questions to follow.

Ampie Car Computer Case

AOpen i945GTt-VFA Intel ViiV Mini-ITX board
Intel Core 2 Duo Merom T7200
2 Gigs Ram (2x1G)
Seagate Momentus 7200 80GB Hard Drive
Pioneer Slim-Line Slot Load DVR-K05

Xenarc 700TSV Touch Screen
HQCT-i (AM/FM Radio)
USB GPS Reciever
USB Bluetooth
OBDII Controller

1. Does this configuration look obtainable in terms of the car battery being able to handle it? I also plan to adding a usb GPS reciever, web cam or two, along with powering a PocketPC and a cell phone if possible, would my car be able to handle all of this?

2. Any better suggestions to the parts I've listed?

3. What do I need to get this configuration powered in the car, recommendations (shutdown controller and whatever else)

4. Ignoring performance, how much more power does a setup like this take over one of the Intergrated VIA configurations with a similar set of components?

5. If anyone is running a configuration like this, do you have any issues, crashes or any other things you have to watch out for when using it in terms of car battery, temperature ect.

6. Well this device (CAR2PC-BMW - http://www.car2pc.com) allow me to use my Steering wheel functionality to control the computer in terms of volume, song skipping ect. or is there another device I should be looking for, if anything at all?

Well that's it, any suggestions, comments, answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link DarquePervert, I guess you've heard it before when I said, I didn't see that when I was searching

Ok, don't know how up to date that link is but from the information on the link and what I've read up on the AOpen i945GTt-VFA motherboard, am I correct in stating that I'll need an CarNetix CNX-P1900 to power the computer and the optional CNX-P5V +5v/15 regulator to power other components like USB GPS. And this also answers my startup/shutdown question since it's built in.

This sound right, is there a better option I could go with or is the best solution for my listed setup?

Just an FYI, the cpu fan on the i945GTt-VFA is rather high. I'm not sure, but I doubt the motherboard will fit in an Ampie case without modification to the CPU fan.

Just wanted to make sure you were aware that the motherboard you picked uses SO-DIMM not standard 184 pin DDR
