Cool Editing Windows XP Start Up Sound/Music

Before all the come out of the woodwork. I searched.

Is there anyway to edit or change the start up sound/music when XP boots up?? Or is it hard coded into the software?

I laughed. Well, your question is more computer oriented than car pc oriented so next time try google or a pc forum. Google, my friend.

WOW... just when someone thinks they did the RIGHT thing and searched first and STATED that they searched first too, all to avoid the scorn of the all-knowing Compugeek Gods in the forum. I feel for ya, Queenambeach, but I guess the powers that be have frowned upon your question, for it was far too simplistic for this forum of car computer nirvana..?! Death to the damned!!! Revoke his username!! Send his PC a virus!!!! How DARE he ask such a simple question that Legacy knew the answer to when he was in the 7th grade!!!!

Lighten up guys, not everyone is totally PC literate or experienced. Yeah it was a simple question, but everyone has to start somewhere. And this IS a computer forum, so just answer the damn question if you know the answer instead of redirecting him somewhere else, it's probably easier for you anyway, and everyone is happy. No wonder most people have to start a new post in the Newbie forum with "I searched already so pleeeeeease don't flame me".

See, one of the usual suspects was here. **** is a very bad word, you should refrain from using it, else a ban may be imposed, and then where will you ask all your EXTREMELY SIMPLE questions.

How ironic that threat is; considering the content of your signature file.

I guess we'll just have to "excuse your French".

The difference is that my SIG is not refering to anyone on the board. Name calling, especially using utterly vile words like "****" is a no no.

There is NOTHING ironic about it, no need to excuse my French.

Michael

Stop re-typing and quoting the word if you dislike it so much...... Irony turns to hypocricy.
Just remember, you too, couldn't even post without tossing an insult back at the "noooooob".

There is a ton of bad language on this board. This word is no worse than I have heard in other threads.

jeffrey: I agree. But I guess it's ok in this forum, per Wiredwrx's last comment, to type *** or MOTHER ****** ... no matter what language it's in... just don't direct it at a member.
