Question Anybody successfully mods Power Switch of IBM T2x?

My plan is to use my old T23 and this controller as carputer.
http://mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75071

Anybody can give some clue about how to solder wires to the power switch of t23? The power switch is not onboard, instead it is built in keyboard. Any suggestions and photos are welcome. thanks~~~

I'd take it apart and see what it looks like. Maybe post a pic. Without knowing, I cant really help figure it out but in theory a button is a button. Unless it uses the matrix of the keyboard it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
