Decent touchscreen ?

I found this item on e-bay 8" VGA TFT LCD Touch Screen Monitor for Car PC/GPS

The seller doesn't seem to mention the manufacturer or model #. He has good reviews, including from people who bought this monitor.

What do you folks think? its only $200 shipped to US...is it worth it?

Boris.

looks solid from here, and if you can get it for 200 shipped, the price isnt bad either. It has a built in TV tuner which is pretty neat, and the native res of 800x600 is better than the native res im stuck with :P

I hope you do realize that an 8" lcd will not fit into a double din opening without severe modifications. I bought an 8" thinking "I'll make it fit." Well that was a mistake. I resold it back on eBay for only a $20 loss due to shipping, but still it was hassle. Unless you are planning on a boat load of modifications, stick with a 7".
