I doubt it's the hard drive, since you aren't even seeing the BIOS splash screen. Try swapping components out from another computer until it works, then replace whatever was causing it.

start by removing all other non essential components, and just have the memory and cpu.
if you can then get it started, start placing the parts in one by one till you find the problematic part.
if you don't, then your problem is between mobo/memory/cpu, so get those checked using another pc perhaps

If your power supply isn't up to task...it will act like this.
If your CPU isn't installed...or installed correctly...it will act like this.
Or like the computer I just saw...if you had an undersized heat sink, and it got coated in a very light misting of cooking oil, then have dust collect on it, making it look furry, and have it be on an Athlon with no internal overheat protection...you get this symptom...
...and your mobo gets a burn spot where the power transistors tried to supply the power to the runaway thermal meltdown CPU...
...and when you pull the heat sink off you see a nice charred area on one side of the CPU, and the ghost imprint of the CPU on the aluminum oil and dust coated heatsink...

Its definitely the .....
Oh wait, you haven't provided a SINGLE detail about your system. How the hell can anyone help you when all anyone knows is "Hey, it doesn't work"
Try calling tech support one time and, with out saying anything, tell them it just doesn't work. See what happens.
I find it interesting that people are giving you suggestions. Not knowing anything about your setup, I guess you are using an M2-ATX and an EPIA or Jetway MB.

if your ipod is your hdd it might be one thing, but if your ipod is an ipod as its main funtion unplug it, and any other flash drives you might have connected, it might help. i know for my system it give me a boot error, but thats because of my boot options.
