Not really, but I'd keep it out of a tight enclosed space such as a tiny, cramped PC case.

I was thinking either the 'Super' brand from eBay or an Innovatek IN-007VT, also....
I don't know about Super... But I'd avoid anything with the Innovatek brand like the plague. Nobody who has reported an experience with
any of their products has anything really positive to say.

So, will this be ok for a CarPC?
Here's how you need to approach this question.
Examine the functionality you want out of your vehicle computer.
Now examine your hardware.
Now ask yourself, "Self, will this hardware be able to perform all the functions I want if it were built as a desktop PC?"
If it will, then it will be fine for your vehicle PC, so long as you are have three things:
- Space for the hardware
- A way to power the hardware
- A way to keep the hardware cool enough to operate stably.
