Help with Mk4 Jetta 2001 Monsoon

Ok, so the deal is that I have a monsoon stereo, with a cd player in the top din.. no cd changer in the back.. if i want to:
1. install a touch screen in place of both dins
2. if i cant do this,(to keep the monsoon head) could i install a fold out touch lcd?
3. install carputer - in dash, not trunk or glove box
4. connect to monsoon amp in the trunk to play on speakers
what type of converter cable , connection would i need

im fairly computer savy, but ive never done anything quite like this before.. that and i would kill to have access to all 200 gigs of my music in my car

your limiting factors is space. You should be able to fit a screen in the double din spot. All comes down to which screen you choose. You could fit a computer into the dash if you got the space. Mini-itx boards are only 17 cm by 17cm. YOu should check out the FAQ's to see everything you need and then check out the projects for various examples.
