Can someone give me some advice on first car PC install

hi
I am planning my first car PC install, so far i have just bought a mini ITX P4 board. and as am not sure on cases yet, i have 2 in mind, the first is a VoomPC but at the moment untill its all in 100% I am thinking of modifying an Xbox 360 shell i have lying about.
I am thinking of buying one of these to sort the power

Is this the sort of thing i need? or are there any recommendations? i plan to use Mediaengine software to start and get going (or can anyone recomend any thingbetter?)
I plan to use a touchscreen but am unsure about the whole wiring part, is there any online help or diagrams at all to help me understand whats needed for the wiring please?
thanks for any help

Hi elbandito. Head over to the FAQ Emporium and check out the "FAQ to the FAQs" thread. It makes it really easy to find the links to threads on all the major sub assemblies you will need to know about. Like Power Supplies, Front Ends & Touch screens.
