Is it easier to buy an internal one and hack off the molex, or an external and hack off the household plug? or none of the above?

I've tried searching for which of these is done more frequently but haven't had much luck so I apologize. I orderd all the parts for my carPC / speaker upgrade [going to run without a headunit] and should hopefully have the install completed by next week.

To me it depends on other things. Price. Installation.

Is one cheaper than the other, I would go with the cheaper one.

Are you installing it in a case or will it be free floating. If outside, I'd get the external.

It will be an external one and so I decided to buy that one. Hopefully all goes well. Gonna work on setting up the PC tonight... just gotta figure out how to use this damn opus PSU (it didn't come with the manual =( )
