What is OBD GPS Logger, and Welcome!

Heya All,

mp3car have generously appropriated me some forum space for my little OBD logging project, and that's what you're looking at.

This forum is for questions, support, suggestions, etc, for OBD GPS Logger, a free program for logging OBD and GPS data in your car on Linux and OSX [and windows, with cygwin].

The homepage is here: http://icculus.org/obdgpslogger/

But what is it?

It logs OBD and GPS data, hence the name. The core tool is the logger itself, a very simple C command-line program. Alone, it quietly sits there and logs your car's OBD data, and GPS if provided.

OBD GPS Logger comes as a bunch of separate modules and utilities, only one of which is the logger itself. I describe them separately on this page: http://icculus.org/obdgpslogger/modules.html

Have fun,
Gary (-;
