I did this in a design i was asked to make for Autosalon (big aussie carshow)

I always forget the car it was for but its a toyota ute with cab on the back and it had a projector mounted on the top of the roof that was hidden unless the back window was opened

also had black velvet roof with fairy lights to looks like stars and the back was a huge bed basiclly which had speakers on each side with 2 12" subs and afew amps built into the walls.

It came out quite well but i didn't get to see it in person sadly

doesn't help that i stole 1 or 2 ideas from pimp my ride for it lol

LOL - That's exactly what I was thinking... Then I thought why not just run the entire setup off of a spare car battery that you can put next to your car or even keep in the trunk of your car? similar to how high-end audio and low rider setups have batteries in the back...

not sure...not sure if it would have enough power for a 2-3 hour long movie.
