Turning on Computer with alarm clock + relay...

Would there be a way to use an alarm clock and a relay to switch on the computer?
I was thinking about using the relay to short whatever is need to start the PSU (ATX).
Or perhaps using the signal from the button

Signal from the button would be the best way, although what if you keep hitting the snooze. Than you'd be making the PC nuts...

I actually discussed a similar topic a few days back on an electronics forum. What we came up with was a small transistor with its base on the alarm output. This then switched a DPDT relay. One of the contacts is wired to hit the alarm "reset" button when the relay is activated. The other contact switches your device, in your case the ATX button.
Best regards,
Matthew
