Question Getting Pics off your dig camera...??

I hate the process I have to go through to "acquire" my pictures, resize them, convert to jpeg, lower quality, and then save as "namegoeshere.jpg". Its even worse when I have 209 pictures all sitting on my camera now and I dread getting them off, just because i dont want to go through that long *** process.

Does anyone have a program that will acquire all your pics and put them in a certain format for you automatically? Right now I use photoshop (I dont know much about the prog but it works for now), and its kicking my *** because I have to resize, rename, ect. for every picture...one by one!! TELL ME THERE IS AN EASIER WAY!

You can do it in Photoshop, just use an action! Go to Actions - Create New Action - then hit record, and do your thing with a picture, hit stop, then you can "replay" that action to all of your pictures.

I didn't like Ifrman much. It's an ACDSee clone, but is missing some of the conveniences that ACDSee has.

ACDSee takes the honor of best image viewer, imho.
