getting a digi-cam

hey, my parents are planning on buying me (or paying for part of) a digital camera for my b-day. yah me!!!

so, does anyone know of review sites to check out, or buyers guide sites. i want to do some research and see what is really good to buy.

or, if anyone has any suggestions on a good current model camera, those would be welcome as well.

im looking to get something around $500, im not sure how much im going to have to put up, but im sure i could handle anything upto that price, and then some.

thanks all...

~Mike

ShinkunoNamida is on a distinguished road
I would get an olympus too (well i did get one actually : )

I think they are the most rugged, and are a high quality for a reasonible price.
