Yeah,
Mt. Miguel is the fire that I could see out my window. Right in front of my house. It was coming down the mountain on the east side...
As soon as the smoke clears up, I'll take a picture just to show you guys how close it was...
Pretty freaky!!!

San Marcos. Just a hop, skip, & a jump away from the Coronado Hills fires. I'm thanking my lucky stars right now.
Like you, we were also packed up and ready to leave at a moments notice.
My parents live in East Lake and they evac'ed to Chula Vista HS.

Yeah,
So I took a picture with my phone (because our camera is still buried somewhere in a box in the car) of how close Mt. Miguel is to my house and why I was soooo freaked out...
The big mountain to the left is Mt. Miguel. It was completely on fire, heading towards my house.

My sister who live just south of the 56 and black mountain road which is not on a mandate evacuation list. People who live north of the 56 had to go. I told her get the hell out of there before the police/official knock on the door. If the fire cross the 56 freeway, her house is gone for sure. Lucky so far not yet. Took her 2.5 hrs to get to my house in Huntington beach where as normally took me 1.5 hr trip which is not bad. A friend of my aunt who had to leave the house (north of the 56) at 10 AM took a 7hr drive trip on a 75miles trips. It was crazy when everybody try to evacuate at the same time. Imagine if the fire cross the pack freeway, all those who try to leave stuck in a dead trap.
It's just suck for the pass 3-4 days. I'm glad that my area isn't affect, but breathing all the ash and dust make me really sick.

The fire is now heading away from my part of town...
I guess I should be relieved, but that just means that other people's houses are being threatened now...
So far over 1 million people have had to evacuate and $1 billion worth of damage has been done...
