I hate buying stuff from others online , I got ripped off 3 times and paypal banned me because I got ripped off which I never understood ( it froze the money I had ) , I lost hundreds of dollars and couldn't do nothing so I don't buy stuff from other people online anymore.

Crazy ebay, My friend at work bought a 46inch lcd screen on ebay and got the notice that this auction has been canceled. He already paid $1600 on it. That was one week ago. I'll post back here if he gets it. I don't think i would buy a big screen from ebay. To each is own i guess.

Happy ending to this story. Just received the touchscreen from Hong Kong today. Looks like the guy was on the level.

Cool i just remembered that my co-worker told me that his big screen just came in Thursday. The reason ebay stopped the bidding on the tv he bought was because the picture for the item was from the manufacturer site. Stupid copyright infrengment. Oh well. I guess ebay is covering there arse by waiting until the item has been sold to cancel it.

Hey BugByte,

Did you have a chance to work with that panel from HK? It's OK?

I was gonna order some from him for my 3.5" and 4" monitors. The guy said I would have to solder the connections to the panel and run the wires to the USB controller myself???

He said all the ones under 7" are like that. I am juset trying to figure out how tough it is to solder. Most of the TS I have seen came with the ribbon cable already attached.

It's okay. It's an 8.4 inch panel, so everything was soldered already with a ribbon attached.

Like Bugbyte said "57 bucks is no big deal to loose", but $1600.00??? come on!
I think that if loosing the money is no big deal, then use eBay.
If the money is important to you, forget eBay.

Glad it all worked out. (lucky)
