Question wii internet security?

I'm typing on my daughter's wii using opera, kind of interesting..,,
but what about security, passwords and viruses? Any issues to watch for?

What kind of operating system does it use? I never played on a nintendo wii.

wii doesn't have hard drive so I don't think it can get virus.
