Electric, Big Rig Style Horn

I want to put a loud electric, not air, horn in my small car so it will sound like a big truck. I would also like the horn to be activated by a pull cord, like in a actual truck.

I just can't find any momentary pull cord switches that would work for this application.

Any Ideas or Comments?

This site has sound samples http://www.wolo-mfg.com/ but you'll never get a real truck sound without air.

what about a direct drive compressor, like the wolo units use?

I don't really want to install a full blown air tank and compressor because of the price and a space problem in my small car.

They sound like an air horn. I have the Air Splitter with the 808-C pump which makes it sound smoother. The stock ones make a sort of buzz. It's quite loud, but the pitch is not anywhere near as low as a rig. You'd need those 2+ foot long horns to get the sound.

what about the pull switch? You know like a pull valve, but a momentary contact switch instead of letting air through.

Can't seem to find that key component

Here's an idea http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...ORM-OPEN_.html
It would need a stop to keep it from bending or breaking, but something like that.
