Need an idea for a team building activity...

So I'm taking a class on small group communication. We have been divided into teams for a class project. One of the first tasks is to come up with an activity that non of us in the team has done. It has to be a challenging, team building activity. Apparently squirrel hunting is against campus regulations, so that one's out. Any ideas?

Like as far as what? I'm an Eagle Scout, and on my way to becoming one participated in lots of team building activities. One that stands out in my mind is building a "Monkey Bridge". http://www.netwoods.com/monkeybr/monkeybr.html

Supposedly helps with building leadership and communication. Yay!

Another one we did was an activity where the group leader gave us supplies, in this case sugar cubes and glue, and gave us 3 minutes to discuss what we wanted to build without touching the supplies at all.

At the end of the 3 minutes it's time to build. We had 15 minutes to build, but now we could not say a word. Helps with non-verbal communication, as well as a little give and take as to ideas for the project.

This was from when I was younger though, like 14 or so. May not be all that great for older peeps, unless more challenging materials were provided. Yeah!

Check this out http://www.geoteaming.com/ .

It is a team building that involves hiding a number of boxes with some items inside and getting the coords. The team then uses a GPS and clues to find the boxes.
