Yeah we installed a wifi router "back in the day" by duct taping it to the inside of one of those bubble colourful macs. The crt ones with all that wasted room inside, so it fit well. Took them a long time to find it, we did broadcast the ssid but this was just so we could use laptops in class. Why are school's IT people so far behind the times always, so scared "of the wifi".
Couldnt attach to the source and bypass because all of our lines are T3 that run to a central office for all schools in the district where they block everything, and from there go out. So when the T3 line comes into the school it is already filtered.

At least uni is all free!
