I think he figures if he gets just 1 or 2 sympathetic people to send him a buck or two from every site, he'll be doing alright. Maybe we should all try it. It's just like all those chain letters that ask you to send $1 to the people on the list, then remove the first name and put your name at the bottom of the list, and mail it to another 1000 people...

I don't know, this quote from the site makes you wonder - 3) Finally, and most disturbingly, Jeff was not heard from again. I personally e-mailed him for permission to run his story on ZUG, but after an initial response, I never heard from him again. All of his Web sites have come down, and he is nowhere to be found.

Maybe the scammer has some counterparts in the U.S. and had Jeff "disappeared". Egads...
