burned $500
I sold items to someone on here (from France)
He only has like 10 posts, so he's not a regular visitor.
(I did not sell them through our classifieds here)
I know he is on here because he signs his posts with his first (unusual) name. His "about me" is also from France, and he has the same car.
He purchased stuff through my site, trusting me (dummy) sent to a different address (that he requested)
Yep, he did a charge back through with his credit card company, which in turn went back to Paypal, and out of my funds.
When he placed the order I saw a different ship to address, I emailed him to verify, he did.
Thing is, he NEVER emailed me once about where his stuff is at. He also has not replied to any of my emails. He also does not reply to his hotmail address that I got from here.
I really want to mention his name to (1) warn people, and (2) get him back (for what it's worth)
Gonna file a complaint with the IC3 (Internet Crime Compliant Center) (for what it's worth.
I have his name, address, phone number, IP address, username. (He's on other forums too.
Any ideas of what I can do here? (Lost 500 bucks)

It's not hard to figure out who it is from the clues and bread-crumbs.
I'm sorry to hear the bad news. Rotten fruit and stockades is a sort of start. But Recouping your dough is probably more than a tall order.

Perhaps a guillotine is in order here.
Only thing you can really do is file a claim with PayPal which will deny you until the CC issue is resolved, which you can get that info from PP. Then you have to show proof of what you shipped, when you shipped, and where you shipped, any emails or anything. I doubt there is much you can do unfortuntealy. Customer is always "right"

Ya', Paypal is the one that did the "charge back.
Bullcrap actually. They put the $$ on temporary hold, then put the money back and actually CLOSED the case with the following message:
"We have completed our investigation. After reviewing the details of this case, we have determined that it is unlikely that we will be able to successfully dispute this chargeback. This matter has been resolved and no funds were debited from your account for this chargeback. We were charged a fee for processing this chargeback and have debited your account a Chargeback Settlement Fee".
Makes no sense, does it? Note the "unlikely that we will be able to successfully dispute this chargeback", but then it says "no funds were debited".
Then today they took the money out again!!!
Spent hours on the phone with them...AND a supervisor, complete waste of time!!
Are there web sites where I CAN post his name (and whine some more)

I understand you pain, but please do not post his/her details here. It is against forum policy.

There have been other threads on here that mention people's forum name. That is public domain. Mention something not in their profile on this site, and that is trouble.
I think this is right, but dont want to get you an infraction, maybe wait for a higher-up mod to confirm this, but I think a forum user name is ok since he is registered on this forum...

What kinda bullcrap is that?!?!?!
Sorry to hear about your loss man, I don't see what would be wrong about posting the forum name though.
I have a friend that got stiffed by someone on a forum he's on. Sent the money for some goods, never got the goods. Saw a newer thread from the person he bought stuff from where more stuff for "sale" was posted, asked him about HIS items on the thread, never heard from him again.

Yeah, that was real freaking nonsense there. They obviously don't have a clue whats going on. They only gave it a couple of days, then decided to (re)take my money. (Even though I showed them prrof of shipping)
Been a member there since 2001, never had an issue or claim against me.
Great customer service, right?
Oh, his username? amemo06 (Mods, delete that if you want)
Like I said, I think he has less than 10 posts.
When I Google the name I see him on many other forums.
I thought it possible that the guy is actually fair in his claim. Maybe his credit card was swiped. But, I never received an email from him about where his stuff is at. I've emailed him several times (at 2 different email addresses)
I've also sent him PM's from here and other forums. Not a single response in 3 weeks.
The post office tracking number only shows that it left NJ, but sometimes that is all you get with international shipping. Package was insured, so I'm gonna file a claim with the post office. Maybe THEN they will track it properly. (Their tracking sucks)

That in itself sounds a little too suspicious. I know if it were me purchasing items from you, you bet I'd be trying to find the fastest way to get in contact with you after not receiving my items for several weeks.

Son of a *****. He was at the CF forums just a couple of days ago. I put up a post, the admin PM'd me and said not to do that. What the hell man? Thanks a lot!
