Looks really good, Mag. Only suggestion is that it needs some texture. Nothing too flashy because I like the minimalistic approach, but just a simple texture in the background. If that doesn't turn out, try dropping the stamp effect on some pictures, like:

Just needs some abstract texture (not geocities-ish repeating pyramids or a 640x480 picture of the beach repeated). Other than that, great job.
And don't look at my site. It's a 4 year old design.
