Yea I have a friend with 30 cats, you walk into his house, and the smell
burns your eyes, and he came over to my house and complained about
the smell from my 1 dog that gets a bath every week, he and his
family also smoke, I am surprised they can smell any thing

HAHAHAHAHAHA, wow its bad when your eyes are burning from the smell. Cats usually don't have a smell, or at least mine didn't. I do know that people with ferrets, oh god, those really stink, infact I'm allergic to the smell. If I smell them I get a high fever and get sick for several days. Same with possums, thankfully I have hunting dogs which keep most away and if not they kill them.

I'm wondering though, doesn't febreeze make like a new air version of their spray? Maybe spraying alot into the air and keeping the car locked up will absorb alot of the smell.

Man my sister has ferrets.. and they ******* stink! usually if you keep the cage clean and give them maintenance every 6 hours, they are fine. but i have YET to meet a ferret owner with that type of commitment.

tomorrow's my day off. im taking the shop vac to the car weather permitting.
All sport padding will be removed...

is there a product like a pipe cleaner only larger? ... im thinking of taking a modified toilet brush (new one) to the vents or snaking a towel down there and pul;ling it back out.

hmm

I've seen fan blade cleaners for ceiling fans that look like long pipe cleaners with fluffy bristles on them. Maybe Home Depot or Target or Wal Mart has them.

OMG, thats kind of extreme, pipe cleaner!?!?!?!?! I think I would go with something car friendly, also something friendly for you, remember your car is going to be blowing that stuff into the air. Maybe something like wipes will work, they make them for the car.

Coat a couple of ferrets with furniture polish and stick them down the vents.

Make sure they come from an owner that has the aforementioned dedication.
