wow, if that thing is as good as it looks, thats pretty impressive. although the price is high, it would look very good in a home theatre setup. more professional then anything else ive seen, but you pay for the look.

how much would it cost to have a face plate fabricated? You could just make use of an old component casing (ie tapedeck, cd etc) and have the face fabricated. Then you'd have something totally customized to your needs/desires

Newegg has something similar. They've had them for a while and gone down in price. THe case is $205 right now

Yeah, the high end htpc case market is becoming surprisingly large for what I still think of as a niche industry. There are a few other manufacturers that make quality htpc aluminum enclosures as well (and they all seem to be $200+). But then, I suppose all the high end audio and gadget nuts out there have to much money in the first place.

CompUSA has a component stereo type case for sale. Solid design, all black aluminum. Looks cool, though not quite as refined as this one.
I forget the price but I believe it was under $300.
