Why are so many electronic websites down right now?!?!

Look at the subject. Right now Im bored so Im wanting to browse a few websites and several of many of them are down, as in cant find the server.

Includes:
eBay
Crutchfield
CircuitCity
BestBuy
JCPenney

These are all Ive found but anyway, like I said, Im bored so I thought I would let everyone in on my little secret.

Looks like theyre all working now, all except bestbuy. It does come up but rather it says they are under maintenance so it basically works. Anyway, dont know why it wasnt working but of course the time I just sit down to mindlessly surf, the websites I goto are down. Oh well, it happens. Anyway, like I said before it was more out of boredom for posting it rather than finding a solution.
