Xbox360 Wireless Thru Pc Issue

Aight, So I'm poor... and I have a 360. I also have a Live account. I Don't have one of those fancy wireless apt for the 360 due to being poor and I don't see paying 80-90 bucks for wireless B/G. So being moron that I am, I had the good idea of getting a cat5 and running it from my 360 to my pc in my bedroom. Less than 3ft from each other and the PC has wireless N. So I went into network connections shared my Wireless with a lan port and bobs your apples I have internet on my 360. Working great, Havnt had any lag even when playing big team battles on halo3 or all my friends playing GTA4.

The Problem.

So, I just finish playing some ghostbusters (good btw), kill my 360 and go to bed. get up the next day and get on my 360. No internet. Switch the TV back to my pc unshare the internet. Share it again. Still no internet. Go to the 360 and through all the testing xboxlive connection and Bam! Internet back. Turn off the 360 again just to see if it would keep the connection or reconnect on its own. Same thing as before. I have to unshare then share then get back on the 360, test for connection then I have internet.. There has got to be a better way... Any thoughts other than paying microsoft? I have read all the reviews on the 360 wireless and everyone says their great but I just can't get over the fact its G and more than 50 bucks.

Did I make any sense?

roflcopter is an unknown quantity at this point
probably have to make the IP of the xbox static. just set it to static in your network settings on the xbox. set it to manual then manually enter an ip. then unshare - share and it should save the settings.

Didn't think about that. I would have to set up the pc's lan port to static too right? I have tried static ips on my network and always seemed to have issues. It could be user error.

My Mother raised me better than this. Thanks for the help. I should have typed it first. My bad.
