new paint on the eT/A....

Just picked up my 'vert from the paint shop today. In exchange for the paint job, I gave the painter my other project car- a 1981 Firebird, 350 cid, t-tops, non-running. Basically the car was killing grass in my front yard, and seeing as how I had lost all interest in doing a Bandit clone (and the eT/A needed paint), we made a deal. Got a real good, basic base coat/clear coat, jade green metallic with a touch of gold pearlescent. Whatcha think??

My wife and I have our 86 TA in the garage. All sorts of problems, but I don't have enough mechanical know how or money to get it running. Everytime I head to the garage for something, I wince.

Car looks great though!

I can definitely relate to that.... the car I traded for this paint job was the same way... nothing but problems. This one I got lucky with, however... tight as a drum. And being that she's 1 of only 1200 VIN- verifiable third generation (82-92) convertible Firebirds ever made (and one of only several hundred convertible Trans Ams), she's going to be a garage queen for many, many years.
