Strange observation!
There were three misses in the england-portugal penalty shootout:
Becks missed wearing shirt no. 7, his United shirt no.
Vassell missed wearing shirt no. 23, Beckhams Real Madrid shirt no.
Rui Costa missed wearing shirt no. 10, Beckhams early United no. (before he got no. 7 from Cantona).
Being a great Beckham fan, I still think it's a sign that he never should take a penalty again....

I don't think ANYBODY should take penalty shoot-outs!!! The idea is ridiculous!
Yeah can't rule out the Dutch either, but from what we've seen so far in the tournament you can't rule anyone out. I think Czech's will take the semi's too

Last night the Dutch have shaken off their penalty trauma. For the fourth consecutive time we were about to get kicked out of a major tournament through penalties. And we didn't. So now anything is possible.
Did you see the Dutch playing the Tsjechs? That game could have easily swung our way. No need for us to fear any of the left teams.

The Czechs are through to the semifinals after a good, tehnical, and precise game. Until now, I thought the best defence is ofence, but the Czechs have prooven me wrong: the best defence is ofence. 5 shots on goal and 3 goals. They've prooved they are a team and that they can play multiple types of tactics. For example with the Dutch they played ofensive, and now they played defensive.
So Denmark is out. I think they shoudn't have qualified for the tournament in the first place. At least not like that, with the huge help from the refferee(the final game in the qualifiers was extended with about 4 minutes over the overtime, until they've scored from a huge fault BTW).
In the game against the Czechs, the first shot on goal for Denmark was in the 73rd minute.
The better team won.

at the beginning i thought there would be no way to me to watch games, since where i live ppl dont care much about football (u.s.); BUT thanks to some individuals that stream live video i can watch it too ;p
... Czech Rep. always tends to score at the end of each game
Semifinals ::thumbs up::

I think the Czechs will be one of the finalists! Portugal is right, the other teams are not to be ignored. I think it's between Portugal and Holland for a place in the final.

Opportunity for sweet revenge. But first Portugal. They will play offensive football, which suits the Dutch well. It will be an atractive game for sure.
I hope Figo plays for Portugal, slowing down the Portugese attack and missing free-kicks like he does.
My favourite on the Portugese side is Christiano Ronaldo. He has the best moves on Euro 2004.
