laptop from ebay
I'm looking to get a laptop when i upgrade my setup instead of getting a new desktop. I know ebay ha s a lot of crappy sellers that sell POS laptops. So I'm wondering if anyone has gotten a laptop from ebay and that can remember the seller's ID that they got it from.
I'm looking to get anything around 800 off ebay for a nice laptop.

why buy used?
2.6ghz Toshiba $850
but, that is with $200 in mail-in rebates
I LOVE toshibas, they dont break!
Dell and gateway laptops are horrible--I dont know anyone personally who has had a dell or gateway laptop that hasn't been repaired within 1 year of purchase

ya i refuse to buy anything from bestbuy.. but my needs for a new laptop put them well over 1300  Its gonna be a coding machine and such so a celeron isn't gonna cut it. I might actually just give in and spend some cash anyway

a cele 2.x ghz is more than enough for a coding box.... just cram 512 or 1g ram in it and you are money

i believe compusa has a similar toshiba deal this week.

One year one month... LCD screen completely flipped out. Though, the warranty service is excellent if you have it.
