Vandalism

So my car got vandalized last night. Someone broke a flu recent light bulb over my car. Luckily it smashed against the side, and most of the glass was not spread over the hood of my car. However there are plenty of tiny shards. What’s the best way to get them off my car without destroying the paint?

The loosers didn't even have the balls to break a window and make my insurance pay for this

It doesn't seem wise to blow very sharp things across my car. Seems like it would scratch the paint as it slides off my hood.

then i would say water
turn the hose on just enough to flow nicely
like a wetsand speed
and slowely rinse your car
carefully

Use a vacuum cleaner and lift it of the hood

I called my mechanic today and asked him. He reccomended using water. I did, It worked perfectly. Only 2 bad scratches, where the bulb hit the door of the car. A little touch up paint and it should be fine.
