lazy way to put many vcd's/svcd's on one dvd?

so is there a easy way to convert many svcd/vcd to a format that will fit more than one movie on a dvd?
i know you cna run about 5 diffrent proggies to do it but dam
there has to be a easier way

it would be nice if say i could just drag and drop of for example a recent webslinging movie thats in 2 parts each 650 meg svcd files onto a single dvd+r disc

What you could do is put the svcd/vcd's (image files right...?) onto the dvd-r disk as data - that's pretty simple enough. Not quite sure what you're asking though....

see i am not sure what i am asking as well
or i should say i am not sure how to ask what i want to do
i just hate making 2-3 regular cd's for one downloaded movie
especially when i have this nifty dvd burner but usually not enough time to sit there and go with 4 or 5 programs to re encode crap

if i dump the svcd's /mpg files onto a dvd disc will they still play in a dvd player?

Yeah you should be able to just play the mpeg's - my windvd 4.0 does that pretty well. In fact, you could just join the mpeg's with TMPGEnc and burn that as data to a DVD-R

Edit: Sorry - the svcd's are probably in image format. Just load the image to a virtual drive and extract the mpeg's

I think I'm right on this one....

I got too lazy to burn VCDs and bought a D-Link MediaLounge. You just have to convert the bin/cue files to mpg with VCDGear and you can view them on the MediaLounge. It's got a few bugs and doesn't support AVI well but it works for MPEG.

If you have the VCDs in some image format, you could use Daemon Tools to mount the image(s) & play it that way or you could DL VCDGear & use that to convert the VCDs to mpeg, as Curiosity suggested.

Burn all of your mpeg's to one disc using ISO burning metode (e.g. Ahead Nero Burning Rom), make sure the checkbox for closed disc is marked. Now the finished disc will be playable using regular DVD players who support MPEG ISO. Still, as you can see in following link not many players accept such discs.

Another way is to convert them to a low resolution DVD format (352x240 for NTSC/352x288 for PAL) using for instance a late version of Pegasys excellent TMPGEnc, and burn it to disc using the same companys TMPG DVD Author.
You can also use ULEADs DVD MovieFactory, which will perform both tasks for you (both rendering and burning).
