car Issue - squeaking

My gf's car just started squeaking while driving at very low speeds.. under 30. Maybe i don't notice it over but its there. The odd part it goes away once you brake or turn the wheel. My first guess is that brakes are getting low and its the warning tab letting you know its time to change them.. but then when i turn the wheel i don't hear it. Another idea is some of the bearings are gone.

I'm not a big car guy but was wondering if anyone else has any ideas. I can change brakes so i can check them but I don't wanna go through the hassle of taking them off just yet

thanks
