I was by myself, and noone was hurt. I guess that's the main thing. The carputer survived. Maybe that's the main thing.
No idea yet how much it's gonna cost. It's the mirror, door, and rear quarter panel.. I wouldn't be surprised if they estimated it in the area of $2k. If I let my insurance deal with it, I have to shell out for the $500 deductible, so I have to wait for the police report and then figure out how to deal with his insurance.
I don't think he was on anything, and the cop didn't do any breathalyzers or any tests.
Insult on top of injury: What really ****es me off is that when the cop came, the other guy started lying and trying to tell the cop that I was speeding, and therefore it was my fault... So the cop told him to shut up. lol

Good luck.
Maybe I'll take the car to the dealer tomorrow, I should be able to get an estimate from them, right? And since I shouldn't be paying for it, who cares..

Yeh, get an estimate from a good place. The insurance company will come and check out your car anyways.
Also, read up on this thread.

Do you have legal protection on your insurance?
You should notify your insurance right away and they will send you for an estimate and get your car fixed (you pay the excess) and then your legal protection will pursue the other guys insurance for the money and your no-claims will be reinstated (if you had any). That is how it works in the UK. Normally if oyu take it to an insurance approved place you get a courtesy car too.
Talking of car insurance - mine is up for renewal today
