Well i just paid off my $1600 i had on my credit card, it seemed like i was paying and the balance kept going up. What i didn't realize is the minimum payment was less then the finance charge so it always would keep going up...
So since i want to change jobs soon and want to start putting money in the bank, i just paid the last $992 off today...
I'm going to lock the card up in my safe and only keep it for real emergency's.
Felt really good to hit that little send payment button.
Hopefully i can stay far far away from the card and get my car paid off now...
Looking forward to more stories from others in this thread!!!

oh how great is this: the photographer we wanted to hire has backed out, so thats $250 I had budgeted that is freed up.
The florist only wanted a $25 deposit instead of the $300 I thought they were going to want.
Both of these have happened in the last hour or so. How fricken cool would it be for me to become debt free on Independence Day?
I gotta do some math when I get home to make sure I have enough money for gas til the 13th, but I think I can do it.
