This is the result of thinking too much

in light or recent threads about fecal matter and about how many children you can take down and what not, i have decided to finally contribute to the intellectual end of the spectrum. Take it while it lasts, cause I dont usually do this much thinking
WARNING: Big *** post ahead.

eh, i came, i saw, i posted. If you care to read go ahead, if not, then you dont have to reply with any dumb-*** comments. It's not supposed to be an action adventure movie script, its a collection of thoughts.

My reasoning for this is that to be a completely open-minded person, one would have to both support "reading long post" and be against it at the same time.

My viewpoint on this topic is this: If an isse does not effect you, and no one else is getting hurt, no property is being damaged, then why is it so hard to just let people live their lives the way they want.

I want to see how people react, and how many people i thought were friends may turn to enemies.

LOL

Sorry I cant help it

I actually read that. Kind of boring, but I'm bored, so might as well.

I have to say I agree with you up until the point of religion. If I want to hang my head and say a silent prayer before a meal, is it really anyone's business? It doesn't affect anyone, it's not harming anyone, I say let it be. It's more freedom of thought anyway, as that's really all a prayer is.

On that note, I'd bet anything that a child in public school could say out loud "Hail Satan" before a meal and get by with it scot free.

Hmm, open-minded: Having or showing receptiveness to new and different ideas or the opinions of others.

Which would mean that to be open-minded, you don't have to accept both sides of the issue, you do need to hear each side though, and analyze it without injecting your own prejudices.

There are issues such as abortion, where the question is whether someone is getting hurt, so some might say that no one is, so there is no issue, and vice versa..

I do not exactly agree with some of your arguments/conclusions, but this is a hell of a lot better than monkey business. Will comment more when awake.

Why comment on it then? I hardly think you write every movie producer and actor after seeing some movie you find useless. This might be a boring to read to some, but then there is also such a thing as useless and unconstructive comments.
