You have to see the irony of this whole thing...She has a heart attack due to a potassium imbalance caused by her bulimia, then dies years later from starvation...go figure.

Is she dead now? Hopefully. Its pretty f'd up that they would just remove the feeding tube and let her rot away. I'm all for people in that kind of situation being terminated(?) but if you're gonna do it, do it quickly.

Yea, she died...Depends on how you view it to say how long ago. I think she died about 15 years ago, but they decided to keep her body alive.

Basically, if I can't wipe my own ***, then I'm no longer the person I was, so just let me die...

well the way technology changes on a daily basis and medication there is always hope. However it was fricken wrong to make someone suffer by removing the tube. Her husband should not have had any choice in the matter, because he moved on and has children with this new chick. **** the parents could not even feed, give her water (that is totally f-cked up). Just to let someone die, than her husband denies access to the parents in her final hour???? Now how would he have know it was the final hour????? And to top it all off, her husband is going to have her cremeted and buried in his family lot in PA, and not tell her parents what day so they cant show up.

Her husband is a total *** and sounds like the dude from calli who killed his wife and kid (fetus).

May be you should find out why the dispute started to begin with. If you think it has anything to do with the feeding tube, you are dead wrong. The dispute started in '98 when the money won in the lawsuit against the hospital, went to Terry's husband. At that point of time her father made a promise to make Terry's husband's life a living hell, quite successfully as you can see. And if you think that Michael Schiavo is a money grabbing killer, consider that he refused a multi-million dollar offer to just walk away.

And why should he not have a voice in the matter? He married her, he loved her and wanted to do right by her. He also seems to have been in touch with reality, unlike her parents. There are no known cases of people coming out of coma and regaining their cognitive skills after this long, so whats the point?

I agree with a sentiment that its messed up that she was left to die by starvation, but then euthanasia is illegal in this country.

And calling him a killer.... that's a stretch right there. So he planned it for 15 years? Right.

Tom Delay did this to his father, Terry's dad did this to his mom and would want that to be done for him by his wife (his statement). Hmmm. Something to think about.

Well if u read about him you would think he was a nice enough man

He didn't stand back int he 15 years he did try everything out there he could think of to help her.

The parents would bring the media when she is being burried and thats just wrong they would try to make his life hell still after their daughter has gone.

As said above me the parents were making his life hell and the media is only going on their side mostly so you can't say he's a killer if you look at it the media hasn't shown his side of the story much at all.

Who knows he might get a million dollar deal to go on tv to talk about it all

Who knows, may be not, after all the people that butted into this whole thing, from Congress to Jessi Jackson, there just might not be enough cameras left to cover another person. Or a real disaster.
