So was Dan Browns "Angels and Demons" accurate in its portrayal of how a new pope is selected?

it's always sad if a good person dies. Although he was a good person, he was on the wrong side. My $0.02

It seems like he did a lot of good things during his Papacy. Sad day for a lot of people.

i don't really want to explain, because if someone is dead you only supposed to talk about good things of him, and my explanation would also contain bad things...

Yeah, its accurate. They've done it for centuries. Since the Pope was from Krakow, they've blocked off streets around the place he grew up and studied. He did a lot of good things during his time, both during the WWII and while he was Pope.

Pulled from another message board (so it's not my material):
"April 1, 2005 - VATICAN CITY - Vatican Pope John Paul II, declared deceased only minutes ago, reportedly sprang to his feet and declared his need for "cervelli" which is italian for brains. The Pope is now reported to have sustained several gun-shot wounds to his face and chest, only to shake them off and continue attacking devout follwers who approach him."
