Motorola Razr V3 Volume Hack!!!

I dont know about any of you guys who own a Motorola Razr V3 but the volume totally sucks on it! I can barely ever here anyone when im talking to them!. But not anymore! I have found a way to make the volume lots louder! Here is what you do:

Download P2kTools: here

Connect your V3 via USB to the computer. You can use the same usb cable that comes with most digital cameras instead of buying the motorola one.

Next:

Click on the green button "Switch To" And click P2K.

Then click connect.

After connecting to your phone go to "Tools" Click on gain.

Click "Get" and the settings should be at 0. You can change them to whatever you want. Max is 8. But i wouldnt go higher than 4. When you are all finished click set. Then Click on restart in p2ktools.

The phone should restart and you should be good to go!.

*This mod should work with most motorola phones. Just remember you can only do this via a usb cable and not bluetooth!

Come on bro, read the first post, install the software, make sure you download the drivers from that site, plug your phone into the USB and follow the rest of the directions on the first post....

Yes I am a girl..I did download the stuff, however those instruction are NOT correct... but I did however figure it out.. thanks for the link to the downloads... You can't go to tools and click on Gain its not there... but you can go to the tabs below the the menu bar and click on OTHER FEATURES and on the left hand side there is the Gain Table adjustment it is simple slide bars and it works perfectly...

Well, I have been trying this for a while now. I can't seem to get P2K to connect to my phone. When I click on connect, it tells me that the program is not responding. Any ideas? I have a Verizon Razr V3c. Thanks.

Did you download the P2K tool from the link above? I would try removing the program from your computer and then reinstalling it... make sure all other programs are closed when you try and use it...

That one worked! Thanks. This is a pretty cool site and I hope I might find more answers here. I bought a new GSM, unlocked V3 from TigerDirect. It came in a French version. I managed to change the language and everything works perfectly on the Suncom network except the browser. No matter what I cannot connect. I called Motorola and they said the browser was configured from overseas and there was nothing that could be done about it. I think the Motorola guy is full of crap as far as not being able to do anything. But, I need to do more research before actually attempting any changes. I don't want to make it worse.
