Excel Formula?
Anybody good with Excel?
I have column "D" that shows (a list) of prices, how do I create a formula so that column "E" will show the total of each price in column "D", plus 11%?
Example:
$12.00+11%=$13.32

wouldn't you just do =D1*1.11?

You just highlight the cells and paste the formula.

If you're referring to what I wrote, then all you need to do is copy/paste to the cells below the 1st one & excel should pick up the changes...

Actually I am wrong, Frodo also added each cell and 11%.
I need each price in E to equal what column D is plus 11%. (Individually)
D (+11%) = ................E
$100.00...................$111.00
$10.00.....................$11.10
$38.00.....................$42.18
$20.00....................$22.20
etc, etc.

Oooh man. Got it!...You guys are freaking awesome! You saved me hours of work.
Thanks!
EDIT: Now how do I get rid of column D without screwing up column E?

you can just make it so narrow you can hardly see it, or you can highlight the entier column, cut and paste somewhere else, or you can right click on column label and "hide".

Freaks! All of you!
My boss is great - very cool guy, but as everyone else on this planet, he has a SEVERE nit-pick - TIME SHEETS. He must spend half of every day massaging the timesheets. And at least once a month preaches to us about the necessity of accurate time tracking...
I've had nightmares about it more than once.
Excel Dies!
