My drive F, keeps coming up "unallocated"

muldrick FLAC Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: South-Central PA Posts: 1,241	My drive F, keeps coming up "unallocated" I use my drive F as a backup drive. And use Iomega to back it up every morning 1 AM. About every 3 months the drive becomes un-useable, and I have to re-format it/partition it...and start all over. No big deal, because Iomega does the backup automaticly. I am just curious why it does this....what does "unallocated" mean?
