DVD Burning Software

Hello All,

I am looking for some software to burn DVDs. I am not looking to necessarily copy an exiwsitng DVD, but I have AVI's and WMVs that I would like to burn to a DVD so they can be viewed on a DVD player.

I prefer something free (I admit it, I am pretty cheap) but if it is worth it, I will pay for it.

Please let me know what you find. A search produced Many Many programs. I am looking for some suggestions from people that have used, or use a program on a regular bassis.

I don't need anything fancy, just something that will conver the file type to DVD and burn it.

Michael

I have found TMPEG DVD AUTHOR as a really good program to do the things you want to do. You can try it free, and aquire it any other way you know about Anyways. This is the only program i found that can use the .vro that my dvd-cam writes to rewriteable disks...

cheers

PS: if you need it, i have it...

Cool. Do you by chance have a link. Hopefully the trial is fully functioning, with no limitations, and I can really try it out.

[Cough] Command [Cough] Line [Cough].

What, are you nuts. Comand lines went the way of the Dodo bird when Windows was released.

Silly rabbit.

Truth is though, when I am at work, I use the DOS ftp with command lines. Brings me back to the good ole days.

Well,

None of the programs mentioned, not TMPEG DVD AUTHOR, Power producer gold, nor Nero Burning Rom offer a trial period.

Rafster, can you help me out with Nero Burning Rom.

Any other suggestions?

Michael
