Getting my MAC address from my NIC

How can I get the MAc address from my LAN Nic on my motherboard ???
have seen it before, but can't seem to remember where the info was ...

Brain is startin to hurt.

I'm sending QWEST an e-mail about some guy scannin my ports and I want to make sure I'm sending his MAC and not MINE in addition to the IP.

These methods will work just fine. If you happen to have your case open though, the MAC address is usually printed on stickers attached to the card itself.

I doubt anyone that knows what a MAC address is, is not going to know how to get to the command prompt

aware of the staus of my connection already as I have some guy scanning ports ..

I just needed to make sure I had HIS mac addr and not mine.
