Damn n00bs
should make some kind of block that force newbies to have a max of 1 post for 3 months. this way they will be force o use the search button if they need some infos.
why am I *****in today about this? because in every single forums i'm in, it's the same bull. somebody have a question, instead of using the search button, they register and ask their stupid *** question.
why?
i know for a fact that a lot of them will never use the forum again. for what it's worth, i shall be a post whore tonight and stop being a n00b.

i being a "semi-new" user find the fact that EVERYONE comes straight in and flames the newbies very wrong. Its the only forum i am on where it happens so badly.
People are generalising too much (that in itself is a generalisation :P)
I use MANY forums and know a LOT about the search button, yet when I have searched and not found an answer, I fear for posting a question in case of being moaned at the moment i post.
I think people need to bear in mind that we are not all thicko's who dont know what a search button looks like, and think that some of us might have tried that already. Dont forget search engines/buttons are not perfect - unless you search for EXACTLY the right word/phrase/spelling then it can come up with nothing.

Newbie is not a status, it's a state of mind.

I agree 100%. I get so sick of reading a few of the members flames of the nooobs questions. Ignore them if you do not want to answer. We are supposed to be here to support this hobby and encourage new participants. This is not happening here. BE NICE!!!!
